But these dishwasher cubes are really neat because you can put them anywhere in the dishwasher and they get the job done. In my opinion they actually work better than more commonly used dishwashing detergents, leaving all the dishes sparkling clean and fresh with no water spots or soapiness. An added bonus is that this particular item has a beautiful smell, lavender. Though the wash smelled good, it did not even remove the easiest debris particles from the dishes. I hate to think what's left in the way of germs. Yuck! I will keep all my other method produts but switch back to Cascade for the dishes. First, dishes must be fully rinsed prior to loading the dishwasher (my dishwasher doesn't require this step) and once the cycle is done, there is a gritty film on all the dishes. I've tried the high temp wash and the santi rinse cycles; it didn't help. Because of this, I cannot use this detergent to wash baby bottles. |
