Using Cascade or some other grocery sold detergent? I used to, but no more. Just bought my first box of Miele Dishwasher Tabs on Amazon, which I did reluctantly because of the price, but what a difference these tabs make to the way the machine cleans dishes. I can't believe how many years I have owned a Miele dishwasher (this is our third), but I never wanted to spend what it cost to use Miele products in it. I figured all detergents were created equal. WRONG. I also bought the Miele rinse aid at the same time, and the combination of the two is really maximizing the machine's performance - plus, they have completely eliminated the awful streaking on the interior door that other detergents eventually left. So not only are my dishes cleaner, so is the inside of my dishwasher. I highly recommend this product. I did not have problems with my Miele dishwasher until and that I mean emphatically UNTIL I started using the Miele dishwashing tablets. The problem did not occur at the outset but is one of insidious onset. This last week the drain/intake light on my Miele flashed and the cycle stopped. I tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions, had two Miele certified techs out to look at it, and one suggested we go ahead an repipe the house since the problem must be corroding pipes. Nine thousand dollars later and the dishwasher still stopped and the intake/drain light flashed. I had another Miele tech out and he said it would cost us at least $500.00 to fix since the sensor device was the problem. I told him I would cut my losses at that point and get a new washer. On leaving he mentioned that my dishwasher had residual soap, even when no soap was put in the dispenser as he worked on it. Cleaner dishes, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Miele Dishwasher Tabs 72 per box (Misc.) I have had my Miele dishwasher for about six years now and have loved it. The Meile installer recommended that we use Cascade dishwashing detergent, and we have followed his advice. But when I saw this product was from Meile I thought I would give it a try, and I am glad I did!I never had reason to complain about how well the dishwasher was working, but I have to say I didn't realize that they could be even cleaner than before. The big difference I see is that cups and teapots that had been stained with tea now come completely clean where before, they still would have some stain on them. Also, I have stopped using rinse aid because I just don't need it with this product. Glasses do not have any streaking and really sparkle. It is also extremely convenient to use. Just toss it in the detergent cup and close the lid, no measuring or eyeballing the amount.
