I read people washing their cloths WITH this product.. not sure I'd do that, but I ran one packet through my front load washing machine, then 2 rinse cycles to make sure no residue was left, wiped down all inside surfaces and smell is GONE!! We have a small household (self & spouse) and generally wash lightly soiled items. We won't use chlorine bleach -- and I'm not sure even that would work. Other reviews said that the Tide product would help clear it up. The Tide box says it may take three applications over three weeks. The first one seems to have worked a bit so am hoping the moldy smell will finally go away after two more applications. |
