I love the cooking results I get with my stainless steel pan, but find myself always reaching for my non-stick cookware instead, since the clean up afterwards is such a hassle. Using a pan that always requires a least an 8 hour soak in regular Dawn after cooking in it, I put the 5 minute to clean claim to the test. After cooking two steaks and then browning some perogies in the pan, I had a thick black char on the bottom. But to put this mess to the ultimate test, I let it sit on the stove and cool first while we ate dinner. This way I could see what the results of hardened food would be after the soak. After placing the pan in the sink, I added some hot water and about a quarter of a spoon-full of Dawn Ultra Power Clean. No rinsing, scrubbing or moving of the pan was done for 5 minutes... She hates the way that I leave pans soaking overnight in the sink (we don't have a dishwasher), and so I jokingly grabbed this one day in essence saying that now I would never have to leave anything in the sink ever again (ok I was being sarcastic). I am so glad we did pick it up!As another reviewer mentioned, cooking with stainless steel is an absolute joy...cleaning it isn't. We recently purchased the Giada De Laurentiis stainless steel cookware set, and up until finding this dawn product would clean it with Ajax dish soap, and then again with Barkeeper's Friend to really get it clean. I kid you not, our barkeeper's friend has sat untouched for weeks now, and the Ajax went straight in the trash.
